Managing Organizations in Tixato

updated December 19, 2011 by Adam

Organizations are at the top

Organizations are at the center of everything you'll do in Tixato. You'll create your first organization immediately after activating your account:

The organization creator

In fact, you can't finish creating a new account without creating an organization. But don't worry, this doesn't mean you're commited to anything. The only critical pieces of information we need are a Name so we know what to call the organization, a Short name* so we know where to put it, and a Sales email so we can let customers know how to get a hold of you. Everything else is optional.

* Changing your organization's short name will change the web address (URL) that points to it which will break any existing links you or your patron have saved or shared.

Adding another organization

Because we don't have any limits on how many organizations you can manage from your account, you can create new organziations at any time. You'll find the "Add a new organization" link on the Manage page.

Add a new organization

Additional organzations will be attached to your account but will exist entirely independent of each other. That means patrons created and tickets sold by one organization cannot be shared with another organization. When you switch between organzations no settings or information will be transferred or shared.

If you work with more than one organzation, you can switch between them by clicking on the name of the organization at the top of the Tixato screen.

If you're still having problems or if you have any other questions, you can always use the support link at the bottom of the screen, or send an email to support@tixato.com to get in touch with us. We would love to hear from you.
